Police ask for stabbing suspect to hand himself in
Police are appealing directly to Leon Harrison, who officers want to speak to in connection with the stabbing of a woman in Birmingham.
Harrison, aged 33, from Kings Heath, is believed to have left the scene of the stabbing on Pershore Road in Stirchley, in a silver coloured car at around 2pm.

Detectives investigating the stabbing of a woman in Stirchley yesterday have released a picture of a man they would like to speak to.
Leon Harrison, aged 33, from Kings Heath is believed to have left the scene in a silver coloured car after a woman was stabbed in Pershore Road at around 2pm.
Harrison is known to often be in Selly Oak, Kings Heath and Lickey Hills. He is described as 6’2”, heavily built, with four gold canine teeth.
Anyone who spots Harrison, who has a distinctive panther tattoo on his right arm and a large cross on his lower left arm, or know of his whereabouts should not approach him, but should contact police urgently on 999.
Harrison is believed to be known to the victim who underwent surgery after her ordeal yesterday. The 31-year-old, in the early stages of pregnancy, remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.

Stabbed woman is 'lucky to be alive' police said
Detective Inspector Justin Spanner from West Midlands Police said the woman who was stabbed in a car park in Stirchley yesterday was "lucky to be alive".
Police are appealing for witnesses after the 31-year-old was taken to hospital following a stabbing on the Pershore Road.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a stabbing at a Stirchley car park on the Pershore road.
Officers are keen to speak to the driver of a blue Renault which left the car park as the attack happened yesterday afternoon at 2pm.
The victim, a 31-year-old woman, was rushed to hospital and underwent surgery last night, she remains in a critical but stable condition police said.
Officers believe the man responsible was known to the victim and left the scene in a silver coloured car.
Woman in a life threatening condition following stabbing
Police are searching for a man following the stabbing of a woman in the Stirchley area of Birmingham this afternoon.
Officers were called following reports of an assault on a car park on Pershore Road just before 2pm.
A woman believed to be in her thirties was found with multiple stab wounds and has been taken to hospital where her condition is described as life threatening.
It is believed the man is known to the woman and drove away after the attack in a silver coloured vehicle.
